Leave Me

In a room full of people
My mind is racing
With imaginary images
And conversations

Always in the corner of my eye
Always the voice in my ear
Just a flash or a whisper
That I need to hear

But when you leave
I miss you dearly
If even for a moment
I need you near me

Not a minute alone
Not a moment free
It’s just the way
You want me to be

Leave me alone
If just for a bit
I can’t think clearly
With you kissing my lip
