This is me.
I am the Earth,
the soil that beings tread on,
the ground that these foes fight upon.
They are soldiers,
they attack with bombs and shells,
and I respond willingly.
I rage and roar and crumble underneath their feet,
I scatter myself upon them like smoke,
I bury them with anger and disappointment.
Yet they do not learn,
they do not stop fighting.
They carry on in this great tumult,
they do not take heed of my warning.
But I am who I am and will be so,
I will express myself in ways that cause such anguish.
I will carry on too,
until these enemies are wise,
and come together as one.
