Our Deepest Fears and Insecurities
Oh how I wish to be fearless and daring.
To be free of trivial worries and mortal anxieties.
Oh how I fear so many things.
I fear spiders and other alien like forms.
Oh how I fear tomorrow and the uncertainty she brings.
Oh how I fear the dreary state of loss and despair.
The sharp stabbing and ripping sensation in the heart.
Oh how I fear to be forgotten by all those I care for.
A name washed away by the seas of time and memory.
Oh how I fear being bestowed misfortune and hardship.
The trials that burn at your soul with every snap of the whip of despair.
Yet we have nothing to fear but fear itself.
