Run Its Course
What a heart-wrenching scene
Playing out like her saddest dream
As rain falls from the sky
All he can say is goodbye
His suitcases packed by the door
She should have been willing to give more
They dealt with such harsh conditions
Which stopped them from fulfilling their wishes
Their relationship had run its course
All that was left was divorce
 My eyes were stained red
As I lie in my bed
 Now he’s officially gone
All that’s left is me and mom
