Conflicts
They have torn this world apart.
I just can’t take it anymore.
It used to be “love thy neighbor”
But now there’s only silent war.
I am just a bystander
Watching all the chaos
Witnessing the colossal rip
In the lines of love between us.
Things just keep on changing.
We falsely grin to ease a mood
But just like clock word, at our peak,
The hate and tension does show through.
As the world becomes a harsher place
I ponder ways to patch the holes.
But it seems like it will never stop
And like a bad poker hand, we’ll fold.
Just when I think it’s turning
When the bridge begins to mend
An inevitable bomb is dropped
And we start it all over again.
Emotions are flying around
Like a raging storm in the East.
Quite frankly I am sick of it
Fed up to say the least
