Life of One who Treasures It
I saw a chili red Rose-
it was dripping precious water from the petals,
I saw a shriveled up yellow Rose- that looked like it had died.
When we realize how much value,
water gives to living objects-
we start to act sophisticated.
I watered the yellow Rose,
it started loosening its leaves-
but stayed a coat of golden yellow.
It glistened in the sun-
it soak some energy in.
Life is just like a Rose,
for it has many chances.
It may dehydrate at one point,
yet it can always go back.
The thorns of a Rose protect it
from being harshly harmed.
Yet, children have parents who
give them all their love
and protect them from any danger.
Which is luckier- do you think?
The rose or the child?
For we should all know the answer
by drinking some water!
