I hate the silence...

It hurts my ears,
for there are no words
to sing to
and no music
to hum...

It frightens me;
who knows what could be lurking
in the quiet?

Anything you can imagine...

I thought this one up while I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep. The heater turned off and I was like, "whoa...get me some paper..." haha
