"Poetry is the lava of the imagination whose eruption prevents an earthquake."
-Lord Byron

There is a voice unheard,
But a voice remembered.

It’s a pleasure to hear her speak,
But there’s one thing
That you must seek
If you wish to hear her sing.

She has a musical voice unheard,
But a voice remembered.

She sings only when alone;
She sings her heart,
But it is easy to make known,
As she talks, her voice of art.

This is her voice unheard,
But remembered.

I have written this about a friend of mine that I care about deeply. She has told me about how she doesn't like to sing for people (when she's alone) but I think that she is pretty good. This tells that story.
