When you skate out to the net
My house is filled with boos.
“Chris Osgoods starting out tonight.”
I know we’re gonna lose
“But he’s the best!” most cry and shout
“He’s got three cups to his name!”
But Stanley Cups are worthless
When you can barely play the game
In overtime your knees get weak
How nervous can you get?
“And here’s the shot from center ice,
Oh! It’s in the net!”
When defenseman score from in the crease
I think it’s very clear
That Detroit is in grave danger…
I hope they draft Vocoun next year.
