the protector
We lock eyes but no words spoken
I watch as you mingle with your friends
We are never spoken of until its time
People listen to our cries
Our visual warnings to get out
Your eyes filled with fear
Like bodies in line at lunch we stand
I comfort the staff at the school when I work for
I hide pain for you to be safe
We soar our throats to make sure your out
Our warnings flash like lighting tells you to stay away
We feel the burning sensations
We scream to get you out not for fun
We are bright red to see us when you pass by and check now n then
More and more you will learn to appreciate us
We are not appreciated until the danger comes
I am the protector
