What do you see?
A pretty girl
In an ugly world?
Do you only see what’s on the outside?
Do you even bother looking within?
Maybe you have tried…
What’s within may have already died
Shattered, empty, broken
Tattered, torn, confused
I know you didn’t notice
But that’s okay, you’re excused
Now, may I ask you again?
