"The trade of authorship is a violent, and indestructible obsession." (George Sand) "Even rest should be creative, so that time doesn't flow around us, but through us. This is art." (Anna Kamienska)

Doubt is a knife in the night
Deep she cuts
A scar that lasts forever
They are faithful,
I am not
They are believers,
I am not
Do not ask what I see,
I cannot answer
Salve, I wish for
My scar in my heart
Their lectures speak
To me,
But I do not listen
I am stubborn
Doubt is a knife in the knife in the night
Deep she cuts
A scar that lasts forever

I wrote this in a church service. I remember feeling like an outsider and a fake. I've always struggled with faith and doubt, and so I wrote this.

I'm really sorry you feel that way. Sometimes churches can be judgemental but I know some very nice and loving church people who would want to help you get to know a loving God.

If you have any questions please let me know! I would love to hear from you!

Keep writing! =)
