A Hole That Cannot Be Filled

I loved you so much
But you never loved me as such
I left a piece of my soul open for you.
But you did not like me, no matter what I would do.
You ripped out my heart and stomped it on the floor.
But I could never love you any less, only more...
But I finally see
That you will never love me
Now I feel that part of my soul
I feel it will never be again whole
It was that part of me that you killed.
That left a hole, that can never be filled.
