He doesn't text and call whenever it's him I miss
And he doesn't always leave me with a feeling of bliss
He doesn't understand everything I say
And I don't get to see him every single day
Even though I wish he could, he can't read my mind
So I have to say what I mean every single time
But he does call me almost every night
And when I'm upset he makes everything alright
He does try to see me whenever he can
And he answers whenever I call him young man
Sometimes I'm glad he can't read my mind
Because he has me thinking of him 90% of the time
So no he's not the fairytale prince charming kind of subject
But I love it, because with him it's perfectly imperfect

It's Perfectly Imperfect was another "Perfectly Imperfect" themed poem hence the title. Summer of 2010 was for me what we call "Cuffin' Season" and I felt the need to put on paper how I felt.
