Seeing a Life Less Complicated
The lines slightly slant
As my fingers run across them.
Always cold at first,
But eventually
They warm to my touch.
As they sing
Their vibrant melodies
Of woe and longing
My mind is put to ease.
I am left to ponder
My life, my friends,
My hopes, my desires.
At peace for now.
