Going Through Hell
I destroyed the veil that seperated
Heaven and Hell.
I stared into haunted eyes,
And sung demonic lullabies.
I danced through the flames,
I played the Devil's game.
I watched the victims be lured in,
And counted their seven deadly sins.
I was attacked, but my spirit remained intact.
I put my trust in something I could not see,
For only God can save me.
I said goodnight to the beast
As his power decreased.
I heard the blood-curdling screams
Of all the lost dreams.
I listened to a psychopath's mistake of murder and rape.
I saw the harlot cry,
As she suffered under her lust and lies.
I envied the angel's purity,
As I suffered under insecurities.
I spoke of my own sins,
I had hate in my heart, which made the Devil grin.
I found my wrists scarlet-stained
I claimed myself insane.
I plunged into rage,
For I was caged.
I kept it all hidden inside,
I could only silently cry.
I swam through the ashes of Lucifer's lake
I crossed the bridge of destruction,
So Hell could awake.
I lived in Hell, caged in my cell
I opened the gates,
But still I could not escape.
I was rescued by the hands of God
He gave me my place in Heaven,
Because I had lived through Hell.
