Blind Fool
They told me you were lying.
They told me you could never be true.
They told me I was blind, to see what I see in you.
But I did not care.
I simply did not.
Want to know why?
Because I believed your lies.
I fell in love with your sweet talk.
But most of all, I fell in love with you.
As if, I was lost as walking on a never ending path.
They repeated their words over and over again: “You blind fool, you blind fool, you blind fool.”
But, for I, shall never believe anything they say.
They may be right, but you are wrong.
You lied and I cried.
Yet I’m still not satisfied.
As you lie to me with every word you speak, I lie to myself and believe your bleakness.
Is it fun to lie?
To play with my heart as if it were a toy?
How does it feel to lie and live with yourself?
But I shall not ask you this.
Want to know why?
Because every time you lie to me, so do I.
