No Regrets
Life is like a fortune cookie, fragile but rewarding
It can read, “you will soon find the love of your life” or “beware of deception and pain”
That piece of heaven holds the key to your future
Those words only become reality when you take matters into your own hands
Who knew an oddly shaped flesh tone cookie held such power
Crunch, that sound reminds you, life is a privilege, not a right
Tomorrow is not a given, this may be you last chance to enjoy that tasty treat
We must act on today, rather than wait till tomorrow
Say “I’m Sorry” or “I love you”, why risk running out of time
Boom, the cookie breaks into pieces, resembling your life
Everything is falling apart, you get the sensation you’re losing control
Stop. Pause. Breath.
Smile. Laugh. Love.
Regret is impossible, if you learn from your mistakes
