There is Serenity to be Found in Chaos.

A cup of coffee,
A rose, a daisy,
Chocolate cake and being lazy.
A mix tape of your favorite songs,
Old pictures from days far gone.

A piece of paper and some markers,
A smiley sticker and friendly neighborhood soccer.
Greeting cards and cute panda bears,
Blueberry pancakes and an ice cream to share.
Dancing alone, singing into a brush,
Don’t forget that cute boy that makes you blush.

Your first kiss, a warm embrace,
Sleepovers and a fluffy pillow case.
A musical thunderstorm plus a cozy blanket,
Makes the perfect excuse to cling to that someone like a magnet.

A new book, some peace and quiet,
The unforgettable urge to start a riot.
The beach, sunglasses, surfers named Kyle,
The sweet attempt to make a weeping willow smile.

The ability to laugh and the strength to love,
Having a friendship impossible to give up.
Your dads sarcasm and your mothers calming voice,
Knowing its okay to not always make the right choice.

These are the things that I will always truly miss,
These are the things that simply bring me bliss.

Sufers named Kyle... haha that's awesome. Such a sweet, upbeat poem. i'm glad someone is still writing poems that remind people of all the happiness there is in life and not only the darkness.
