- What Matters
The season is changing from summer to fall,
the weather should get brisker from what I recall.
The trees will become a variety of colors everywhere
and the aroma of pumpkin pie will fill the air.
Halloween comes during this time of year,
and scurrying children with costumes appear.
Football games, soccer, and so much more,
Autumn is a season that I adore.
Thanksgiving is a holiday you could never forget,
eating and spending time with family without a regret.
Although school is still during session,
people are filled with anything but depression.
So as I anxiously wait for fall and tell,
I think the first leaf of the season just fell.
