my last poem (revised)

January 10, 2011
By Anonymous

I cry as I run from my mind
Tired of caring
And being alone all the time
Tired of reaching out
Falling for people who won't catch me.
I look back
As life runs right past me
As a crescendo of issues follow me
Murmur in B minor melodically behind me
Wipe the fog from the window
People say I have no life
And I just say "oh"
I have no cushion
So where do I aim when I fall accidentally
Or is jumping off a cliff something to deal with mentally
