Favorite Quote:
Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers.
Alfred Lord Tennyson

It takes an event to bring strength,
Especially when I don’t mean to think,
You’re constantly
In my heart.
Our memories keep me strong,
Though I know it wasn’t your choice to leave,
I can not deny
I am angry,
Mad at God,
Mad at myself,
Could I have done something,
Changed the routine,
Called more often,
Searched the waters more for you,
Would you still be here?
My rock,
My dad,
Forever gone,
Forever missed.

This is a poem I made last year after my dad's death. Though I don't blame myself I always harbored some great pain at the thought that it's my fault.
