Heed your heart's desire
Follow where you may go
I'll lead you through the fire
To the land we both may know

Live your life awake
Don't hide your pain,
You'll break
Here you face your dreams
They hurt,
give,
take

Standing before your wishes
The flame demands a choice
Live what you desired
Or stay and hear your voice

The author's comments:
This is my first attempt at poetry, and I wrote it out of boredom in the shower. The poem speaks about people who wander through day dreams and desire, never stopping to wake up and see what they already have.
