The Tale of the Tail

What would you do if you had a tail?
Would you run around and scream or wail?
Maybe cut it off, pretend it wasn’t yours,
after that, get back to chores.
Or would you keep it to flaunt,
until kids on the playground begin to taunt.
Possibly hide it in your shorts or jeans,
until it finally pokes out and everyone screams!
There’s always surgery,
However, mom says that’s definitely perjury.
For she still loves you, no matter what
even if there is a tail
attached to your butt.
