How Things Go
The sky is blue
Grass is green
A rainbow is bright
It’s just how things go,
My mom died
I don’t have a home
So when I look at a family
My heart sinks
“BOOM!”
War started
But in my heart,
I see a family crying, pleading for food
But what can I do?
I have no money
I have no family
So I leave, and so the same for every one else
It’s just how things go,
It’s March and I can feel the wind
It knocks down a tree
I couldn’t control that
It falls with a loud crash
Things happen
Well, I was under that tree when it fell
People see me lying dead by a wild tree,
It’s just how things go.
