Darkness of Love
Love. He’s happy and free.
He has not a care in the world.
Until he leaves someone’s heart
And takes innocence when he departs.
And on his side of the bed,
He leaves Sadness in his place.
The Sadness consumes you when you lay
And follows you…much to your dismay.
You’ll never be the one,
Nor pure for another love.
So you’ll live with False Hope;
Your new bedmate.
Hope. He’s faithful and promising.
He has every care in the world.
He’s not in your heart.
Love ripped it apart.
