Alone
I hear a sigh,
I hear a cry.
Exausted teen mother,
Abused little brother.
Each sigh,each cry,
I feel is mine.
Each parent,
Each child,
None quite so mild,
As the child growing inside.
I hear a sigh,
I don't realize it's mine.
I start to cry.
No one else knows,
What, inside me, grows.
Not the father,
not my parents.
I am alone.
