This fool's game goes on and on,
The end never in sight.
On and on,
He breaks her heart.
One by one,
He shatters her dreams.
This game he plays,
It's a game of Cat and Mouse.
The stars so high mock her,
Laughing in the darkness as she weeps.
She wonders if he loves her as he says he does,
If he's been honest to her since she said I do.
If she's Juliet,
Is he her Romeo?
Or is he her Prince?
This love once so sweet and beautiful is no longer the same.
On and on,
He breaks her heart.
One by one,
He shatters her dreams.
She misses the days when he was just her Romeo.
She can't help but feel he left her in the darkness.
She can't help but feel she just woke up from a heinous nightmare,
On and on,
He breaks her heart.
One by one,
He shatters her dreams.
