The place where you should be most filled
Your stomach gurgles wanting a filling
Your heart aches wanting some happiness
Hungry for something filling
For some self belief
Hungry for knowledge
Knowledge for information
To show all the wonders
The wonders we see
But never really look at
They are right in front of our eyes
But lost in all the space
We are hungry
Hungry for music
The music we hear
But never seem to listen
The words of those around
Telling us about their lives
We aren’t listening
Always too distracted
Yet we are hungry
Ignorant and hungry
Hungry for peace
Without the peace we can never be filled
And we will forever be hungry
