A Question of Politics
Hyper-inflation may tear us down,
But the government will support us
So why is it when we cry out
 They disregard the populace?

It's not all laughs and kicks,
So why are they playing games
When we have soldiers in Iraq
 Fighting for our free names?

They put too much into politics,
 It's rather quite absurd
So why can't we just come together
And protect our country's founding word?

They claim to be the "greater good,"
But still our nation is declining
 Shouldn't we stand and fight
For the rights that we're resignig?

The government says "Yes we can!"
And I believe that we could,
 But is it so un-American
To question whether our methods are good?

We the people have a voice
And though we may not understand
 All of your devious intentions
We put our freedom in high demand
