Goodbye
Drip, drip, drip
Slowly, death lays before me
It has its icy claws around my beginning
It will not let go
Only until it has claimed another soul, will it release
A gasp of breath
A moan
The end is nearing
Two hearts falter, but only one will fail
Please don't leave our wonderful earth!
The person before me had given me the breath of life
And now hers is being taken
There must be a way to save all that she has given!
A way to relive her amazing, gracious heart
But I already have the key
Oh no!
The time is imminent
She glides her lifeless eyes to mine,
But there is no recognition
So slowly I whisper Goodbye
