Like I pick flowers
Soft and cold to the touch
My bunch is produce
Creation
Life we pick
By color
By attraction
By appeal
I pick bright leaves
Like I pick dead flowers
What did you pick today?

I was really inspired after an Autumn walk, but I tried to write a poem that stood away from describing nature (just because I've written about it a ton) and had more emotion in it instead.
