Deata Koto Wasurenayio (I Won't Forget That We Met)
I can try and try again,
It seems all I do is fail you in the end.
I want to protect you,
I want to save you,
But they reject,
But these feelings I can't forget.
I had no life before you,
Everythinig was empty before you.
Time was so wonderful the little that we spent,
But I really meant,
Everyword I said.
They look at me strange, "Where is your head?"
I can only smile with glee.
"We are destiny."
Even though, we found out it wasn't destiny,
Just a mere puppetier messing with thee,
But we remained,
Our love can never be stained.
I can't thank you enough for giving me back my power,
My will to strive, and not feel sour.
Risking my life here in the desert,
For many things I could just leave in the dirt.
But you kept going, believing.
But you just were closer to leaving.
My arms were empty.
Love came with a price that didn't leave any.
I cried, for what seemed everlasting,
It was so pathetic, my feelings blasting.
But I don't have a single regret.
I won't forget...
I won't forget we met.
