Every Time
Every time the sun rises, I thank God for the day,
The colors mix together, and I don’t want to walk away.
Every time the flowers bloom, I catch the smell of Spring,
The birds are flying back to home; the sun shines on their wings.
Every time the waves roll in, I feel the summer heat,
The sun is hot and the water cool; this summer won’t be beat.
Every time the leaves change, I feel the brisk air blow,
Summer’s turned to Fall and I wonder where time goes.
Every time the snow falls, holiday spirit is in the air,
People are so jolly and gay, and no one has a care.
Every time the sun goes down, I close my eyes to sleep,
All the memories that I’ve made are mine, forever, to keep.
