"He will die on his feet before he lives on his knees"

Ding, Ding, Ding
The gate is closed
The train passes by
But there are no passengers
It goes as fast as it can
Then just stops
I walk up to it
I see my reflection
Only it’s not really me
This reflection looks happy
And I feel opposite
That’s not me
It once was
My heart is pounding
I touch the window ever so slightly
The train is gone
With all my hopes and dreams
All I have worked towards
Was I supposed to get on that train?
Why is it leaving me then?
Life is slipping through my fingers
The train is gone
Gone forever
