This is so cliché, so cheesy
You know I’m not the “Hopeless Romantic” type,
But right now I’m changing
And it’s happening in my heart.
One of my closest friends
And I’m utterly afraid to say
My stomach churns when I think of you
Or even look your way.
Something about you
Your charisma, your charm
It draws me in, secretly, but surely
Closer to you
Will you ever know?
Probably not,
I’m holding it in for our friendships’ sake,
Refusing to let it escape
