5:40a.m.
5:40 a.m. I wake up,
6:40 a.m. I leave.
7:30 a.m. school starts,
2:30 p.m. school ends.
It seems like time flies.
Everything I do lasts only two minutes.
Everything I need to do I never get to do.
Why does time pass by so fast that I even forget the time?
In a couple of years I’ll be driving,
In a few more I’ll be an adult.
Even life is passing me by.
When I get home I finally relax,
Ten minutes later it’s time for bed.
Never get a chance to do what I want to do,
Never get a chance to do what I need to do.
I barely even get to sleep at night.
I toss and turn while I watch the clock:
1:30 a.m., 2:35 a.m., 3:42 a.m., 5:40 a.m.
It all starts over at 5:40 a.m.
