life is filled with dread
of words unsaid
books unread
perspectives unviewed
all i wanted was to
see what you see
feel what you feel
believe what you believe
all i wanted was for you
to understand my views
my emotions
my beliefs
to be able to feel empathy
able to admit mistakes
able to tell deep dark secrets
even those of hate
many confessions to tell
secrets to spill
lies to uncover
under all this pressure of
words unsaid
books unread
perspectives unviewed
the lies now renewed

Note: I know unviewed isn't really a real word but poets make up words all the time. unviewed just means not viewed or seen.
