Impossible Dreams

There's this girl,
she wishes on every star she sees
she has impossible dreams
Guess what, that girl is me.

There's the girl,
Standing on the edge of a cliff
She spreads her wings
tries to fly
in a attempt to be free
Guess what, that girl is me.

There's this girl,
lying on the ground
her dreams destroyed
she has lost hope
She'll never be free
she's bruised and broken
Guess what, that girl is....me

At one point I actually felt that way. I wrote this poem years ago. I have just found it.
