This Small Town

The sweet warmth of the sun
brings light to
this small town
Feathery clouds
s c a tt e r the baby blue sky
without a care of how they drift about.
Like a mirror,
the sun reflects
off the water.
Warm rays hit my body
like waves crashing upon the rocks.
Hearing the drum in the distance,
the dumm..
dumm..
dumm..
echoing in the silence.
The silent, peaceful lake
Resides,
and become mine
