Seeking Red

October 20, 2010
The unavoidable anxiety
Every dream swims through with creatures
The worries drown my lungs
And my counting sheep are exhausted
Caffeine plays tricks and the tiny noises of laughter pierce my ears
Tossing, keep tossing me like a child's ball
Forget sleep
I just need a drink, perhaps a bottle of magic
To erase these ignorant assumptions
Ah, here comes the sun
I'm awake and disappointed.
