The Devious Trap

October 15, 2010

In my family I feel like...
A worthless, unknown, uncared for bit of trash!
My shoulders are the holder of burdens
In a house of misery
My heart of stone
unaffected by the moon of beautiful diamond
The ropes of hatred bind me tight
Love is bitter and my tears are a
waterfall
In this world of devious traps
A bottle of kisses form those you love
Except these are the kisses of death
The love ends
Yet the hatred remains
As I laid down to rest
The kiss they gave the kiss of death

I have been away from my home since I was four and now that I was adopted six years ago things have not gone as they should. My life turning into a pool of depression and such I want others to know that there are people who will always have it worse than you keep your head high and your spirits strong.

This poem is really deep and make you stop and think. i love th illusions you use and I think you have great potential to become a great and renounced poet because, like i could tell through your poem, you really understand pain.
