The Nail

A nail is used for many things,
Years ago it was used to hang,
The King!
A Crown of thorns hung upon his head,
that very moment we thought he was dead.
The nail with it's sharpened end,
was drove into the hand of my best friend.
He hung that day upon a tree,
just for you and just for me.
