The Haunting
A single eye,
a single, blue, staring eye,
It haunts me,
It mocks me,
It drives me insane,
I will rid myself,
rid myself of it,
I will wait,
patiently wait...watch
Every night, when the night is at it's peak,
I stand outside the room,
His room,
SLowly inching,
inching in to shine the light,
shine the light on his eye,
the haunging of my soul,
Then, after many days, I killed,
killed the man and the eye,
I stole the breath from his lungs,
And cut his body, with the eye, into pieces,
Pieces which I placed, carefully, oh so carefully,
under the floorboards,
The deed was done, the eye was gone,
I was at rest.
