A singing choir of angels is what we aim to be
Practice and practice
It’s harder than it seems
The director constantly tells us what to do
Will we remember to do it?
I wonder whether it will sound good?
Day in and day out
We prepare
For the upcoming big event
What could compare?
Crescendos, lifts, half steps, and wholes
It all swims in mind like fish in the sea
Choir oh choir
How I love thee

We try our best as a whole group
And hope to find triumphant satisfaction in the end
Once the night comes to a close
Back to practice again
Learning new songs
And many new skills
Choir is such a thrill
Choir oh Choir
I truly do love thee

Due to the fact my school district has decided to cut back in certain areas in our schools, Choir seems to be one of the top things to take away. I hope that this poem can show why Choir is important and what does for those who are in it.
