Cringing to the edge of the world
Frantically sprinting to the end
Bound by the hurdles in the distance
Trying to leap over the fears and shame
Her fiery eyes beaming on the mirror
Pursuing the deserted nature for her old self
An expedition in vein; bellowing out with
Muted
screams
A hostile blaze burns in her eyes
A feeling of anger and shame
Cradle her soul
The weak attempt to evaporate the pain.
Like streams her tears flow down
Her battered face
Running deep like rivers
Are all her regrets
She believed him- what a fool
Took her dreams and shattered her soul
Like the glass in her hands
She is broken in pieces
A shattered shell of the women he loved
