A Day In The Life Of A Very Bored Child
To my three older siblings,
 for being so fun...

 Us four siblings sat
 upon the stairs,
 wondering what,
 to do on that day,

 being the oldest
 my sister then said,
 “lets put on a circus!
 get to work straight away!”

 hand written tickets
 were distributed then
 to a mother and father
 awaiting our show,

 costumes were made from nick
 nacks just lying around
when it was time to begin,a hush
 went over the crowd

 the camera powered up,
 new film was pushed in
 mother looked proud and
 dad had a grin

 first came the conductor
at the grand age of eight
 who nervously opened,
 the much anticipated show,

 there were trained dogs
 and a clown
 who lived up
 to there rep.

 and a balance beam girl
 who suffered a trip
 but the circus succeeded
 as all productions do,

 when put on by children
 ages eight down to two
