Out the car door
Into the brisk fall night
Outside the grips of the city
Beyond the sounds
Among the trees
Down the path
Atop the hill
Below lies the lake
Upon that blanket
Amid the nature
Between two worlds
On the horizon rests the sun
Across the water
On the other side of the city
Underneath the dark night sky
Is the other half of my heart
