How come when you need something the most- that's the time when you have to fight the hardest to receive it?

Tick tock as the days
fly away.
Tick tock says the clock
old and grey.
Tick tock as I stare
longingly into your eyes.

Tick tock as the sky
turns to black.
Tick tock as the sun
hides behind the clouds.
Tick tock as you stare back at me.

Tick tock is all I can hear, all I can think, all I can feel.
Tick tock as my heart flutters when you walk by me.
Tick tock Tick tock Tick tock

Tick tock as you get closer
to me.
Tick tock as you make me stop breathing.
Tick tock as you kiss me and make me forget time.

.... .... .... ....

Tick tock as you leave again.
Tick tock says the clock again.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! says my alarm again.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece about a guy (as always) during my Newspaper Class. I was oddly inspired by a clock randomly.
