Child
Such an innocent mind.
Truth and loyalyt is all you know.
But fear, it will not last, for long.
Conformed all too soon by th way humanity lives.
If only you could be saved! Let the childish laughter and play stay within you.
Let the world stay a kingdom where anything can happen, rather, than lose the imagination. Only to be replaced with standards and lack of fun.
I, too, have been affected like you soon will be.
The friends in the clouds have faded too simply.
A visible collection of water particles.
The ocean in which I would swim with dolphins. Play hide and seek with mermaids, and talk to the jellyfish is now but a puddle in by backyard.
We all grow older its true, but we lose our innocence in the process. We lose what keeps us up at night trapping fireflies in a jar.
We lose the child within us, all too soon.
